At the time, the most important goal of the aviation industry and the ministry of roads and urban development of the Islamic Republic of Iran is the construction of Terminal 2 (Iranshahr Terminal). Because of inadequacy of public funds and also due to the fact that a small budget has been dedicated to the construction of this terminal and that the client has decided that the capacity and efficiency of the private sector has to be used, in order for the construction to be feasible, investor participation has to be taken under consideration. Iranshahr's terminal infrastructure is about 300.000 m2 with a capacity to accommodate 25 MAP. As a consultant of IKAC, due to the client's request and according to the requirements, 3T+NACO consortium has begun the process of selecting and implementing investment choice through direct negotiations. For the second development and construction phase of Iranshahr terminal, an international tender will also be held.
